RSSWhat's this Obscurity thing? Seems to have shown up today. I'd guess it's something about Seeking and about Masters? Also, 1: does Seeking change anything in the Cave of the Nadir? And 2: what's the best way to "spend" Marsh-Mired? As in, are there cards with no cap to increasing SMEN? Thanks!

Obscurity is part of the price for St Erzulie’s Candle. It stops you from getting Professions or Notability or a Tattoo an Ambition ever again. St Erzulie’s Candle is found in the Nadir at 42 SMEN, conveniently answering your other question.
Every opportunity to spend Marsh-Mired gives you just 1 point of SMEN; the cap depends on how much UP you need to unlock the card. The highest cap is on the UP 9 card, Knight of Feasts, at 27; ie, using Marsh-Mired can get you as far as SMEN 28 and no further.
