Companions at the Feast of the Rose!
So you’ve obtained lots of Masquing. What can you do with it?
Well, its primary purpose is to purchase new Companions on the “An Encounter at the Feast” card! These Companions range from the very cheap to the horrendously expensive. Their costs and stats are compiled here! There are also some things you can spend Masquing on which aren’t Companions, which are also listed here!
- The Briefest of Encounters. - Requirements: 1 Masquing. Not actually a Companion, you just get 1 Stolen Kiss for the price of 1 Masquing.
- Canny Costermonger - Requirements: 3 Masquing - Persuasive +2 Watchful +2
- Neurasthenic Assassin - Requirements: 3 Masquing - Dangerous +2 Shadowy +2
- Pirate-Poet - Requirements: 3 Masquing - Dangerous +2 Persuasive +2
- Ghostly Presence - Requirements: 10 Masquing - Shadowy +5 Watchful +7
- Pentecost Ape - Requirements:10 Masquing, 1 Malevolent Monkey - Watchful +5 Dangerous +5 Bizarre +1
- Presbyterate Diplomat - Requirements: 10 Masquing - Watchful +6, Persuasive +5
- Affable Spy - Requirements: 10 Masquing - Watchful +7, Shadowy +5
- The Cat’s Chiefest Claw - Requirements: 10 Masquing, Connected: Criminals 1 - Dangerous +5, Watchful +5, Dreaded +1
- Acquaintance: Captivating Princess - Requirements: 15 Masquing. - Available on the Duchess’ Banquet option on the Feast of the Rose card, not the Encounter at the Feast card.
- Gentleman of Undisclosed Business - Requirements: 40 Masquing, Favoring the Cheery Man - Shadowy +6, Dangerous +5, Dreaded 1
- Stiff-Backed Young Lady - Requirements: 40 Masquing, Favoring the Last Constable - Watchful +7, Shadowy +6, Respectable +1
- Hollow-Eyed Tragedian - Requirements: 40 Masquing - Dangerous +6, Shadowy +5, Bizarre +1
- Lettice, The Mercy - Requirements:40 Masquing, Acquaintance: The Mercies 1 - Dangerous +6, Persuasive +5, Dreaded +1
- Nacreous Survivor - Requirements: 60 Masquing - Watchful +5, Shadowy +5, Bizarre +2

- Green-eyed Devil - Requirements: Connected Hell 3, Masquing 100 - Watchful +8, Shadowy +6, Dreaded +1
The options are unavailable if you already own the relevant Companion. You may wish to note that Lettice and the Presbyterate Diplomat are the only Feast Companions that unlock additional options at present! Well, Lettice improves an existing Salon option, while the Diplomat unlocks his own rather nice Making Waves option on a Salon as well. If you don’t have a Salon, it doesn’t really matter.
